Collecte, Localisation, Satellites (CLS) is a global company and pioneer provider of monitoring and surveillance solutions for the Earth, created in 1986. CLS operates in the following sectors: Environment & climate monitoring, Sustainable management of fisheries, Maritime security, Mobility, Energy & infrastructures. CLS holds a nearly 40-year experience in environmental monitoring by remote sensing techniques. CLS has been acting continuously in Earth Observation (EO) projects providing services to French and European space agencies, CNES, ESA, EUMETSAT and European stakeholders.
Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center (NERSC), Bergen, Norway is an independent non-profit research foundation founded in 1986. NERSC conducts basic and applied research primarily funded by research councils, space agencies, and governmental agencies of relevance for society. The Center is a national environmental and climate research institute with basic funding from the Norwegian Ministry of Climate and Environment. The results and knowledge are disseminated and communicated to stakeholders and society in support of sustainable environment and blue growth.
The Technical University of Munich (TUM), founded in 1868, is one of Europe’s top universities The Deutsches Geodätisches Forschungsinstitut (DGFI-TUM) was established in 1952 as an independent research institute. Since 2015, it is part of the TUM. The institute has a key focus on remote sensing of the ocean surface and inland waters using satellite altimetry. DGFI-TUM is integrated in numerous international research programmes, including those of ESA and the Copernicus programme.
